Study in Israel
What are the possibilities? The association "Studium in Israel e.V." offers studentsin theology a year at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The program is open to both students in teacher training and master's degree students. This way, the association aims to promote Christian-Jewish understanding.

Language
A specific feature of "Studium in Israel" is that students at the Hebrew University attend courses in the local language - together with Israeli and other students. This requires a sufficient knowledge of the Hebrew language. Therefore, basic knowledge of Modern Hebrew is an important criterion for admission to the study program.
After admission, "Study in Israel" supports students in deepening their language skills by providing support tailored to their individual needs.
Funding
EKD and Studium in Israel e.V. bear the costs of the accompanying program and provide funding for the tuition fees of the Hebrew University. The students themselves pay for the living expenses that an academic year entails. The general cost of living in Israel is roughly comparable to that in Germany.
